"This was my first time visiting Dr. Shawl office. I found Dr. Shawl's office just doing a google search, and I saw how close his office was to my apt. I have been having some ear issues and stiffness for a few weeks and finally decided to get it checked out. I was fortunate when I call the office they had an opened appointment the next day. The lady who answered the phone was very professional. She emailed me the necessary paperwork and information prior to my visit. This makes things much easier for me. If you do not have a printer those papers are provided to you in the office. The office space was clean, calm and welcoming. For my appointment I did not have a long wait. Dr. Shawl was professional and easy to talk to. I felt like he listened to my concerns and asked the necessary follow up questions. After my examination and treating my ear issues, he gave me a referral to see an allergist which I was not surprised about. My ears are feeling much better since my visit. I have to schedule an appointment with the allergist and follow up with Dr. Shawl. Overall I am very satisfied with my first visit with Dr. Shawl.

"I was lucky to have Dr Rousso perform a septoplasty to treat my deviated septum. It was my first surgical experience and I couldn’t be more happy with the result. Dr Rousso was extremely knowledgeable and took time to answer any questions I had and to explain the process clearly and reassuringly. Would highly recommend.

"Every time I've met with Dr. Urken, I've been more impressed and happy that I selected him as my surgeon (after meeting with another surgeon). He is extremely skilled and knowledgeable and his reputation for excellence is well known throughout the country & world. But I was surprised on my first consultation with him to find him to be patient, kind, compassionate and willing to spend a lot of time explaining every step & detail related to my surgery. I had a long printed list of questions and he went through them all with me and waited while I took notes.
The day of the surgery, he came and sat with me for a while and again answered my questions and treated me with humor, kindness and patience. I was pretty nervous and he calmed me. He also took the time to speak with my brother who was there with me, and made sure the nurses gave him frequent updates.
I simply could not be happier that I had Dr. Urken caring for me, I'd give him a million stars!
Also, I have to say that every single person on his staff is simply wonderful. I called often before the surgery with questions and they were always available to me and never made me feel bad about calling. They went above and beyond for me, and I am eternally grateful to them all.

"The worst doctor I ever had. She did surgery on my left ear for a cochlear implant and I caught an infection. She tried medicine that didn’t work and had to remove the implant. She tried blaming it on my Crohn’s disease. I still til this day have pain and still feel like there is an infection

"Dr. Silvers has been my ENT for over 10 years now. She is knowledgeable, kind, patient, and understanding. I was having recurring sinus infections and she first tried treating it naturally. Didn’t work. We moved to medication. Didn’t work. After 4 months of trying, she did a CT scan and determined I needed surgery. I haven’t had a sinus infection since. Best decision I’ve made. Surgery went beautifully and she called to check on me after surgery. Now, I only see her when I have a serious issue and she always solves the problem. Hands down my favorite doctor. She doesn’t sugarcoat things; she tells you like it is. She has a wonderful bedside manner and treats you like a human. She doesn’t talk above you but rather in your level. I highly recommend her!
