"Dr. Alan Friedman is like a miracle worker. I travel from North Jersey to see him. I have been seeing him in NYC for over 35 years and he is the best of the best. He is amazingly knowledgeable in his field of Ophthalmology. I see him yearly for Uveitis, dry eye, floaters, retinal disorder and he also discovered many years ago that I had high cholesterol when he dilated and looked behind the eye, otherwise I would have never known. I highly recommend Dr. Friedman. He also has a wonderful demeanor and very steady hands which makes me feel at ease - Love him. Thank you so much Dr. Friedman for your excellent care of my eyes.. "Overall experience was excellent. The office staff is courteous and professional. The entire visit moved along expeditiously. I normally visit Dr. Alter who is great but she was out of the office so I booked the appointment with Dr. Perlman. She made me feel very comfortable. She was thorough and kind. I did bloodwork and an ultrasound on the premise. I was also given a referral for a mammogram. My lab results were returned within a couple of days and posted to my private patient account. The account is accessible by entering a personal password. I highly recommend Boro Park Obgyn.

It happens that there may be some wait but that is because she takes time with her patients to make sure she is thorough and built a trusting relationship. "This doctor saved my life. I was at Brooklyn Hospital and explain to them that my water had already broke and I thought my baby was in distress. No one listened to me, literally no one. The nurse even laughed at me citing that my water had not broken. I'd reach a point where I was in so much pain that I was barking like a dog. This doctor was heading a home when he heard me and came in to check what the commotion was about. He requested an ultrasound since no one had done one and realized that my child was breached and my water indeed had broke. Both myself and my child were in distress. I had to have an emergency C-section. Had it not been for this doctor I probably would have died. This was 13 years ago! Could you imagine how many patients may have died due to medical professionals not listening to them. I am so grateful for this doctor and I know many others are also.
