This was my first time visiting Dr. Shawl office. I found Dr. Shawl's office just doing a google search, and I saw how close his office was to my apt. I have been having some ear issues and stiffness for a few weeks and finally decided to get it checked out. I was fortunate when I call the office they had an opened appointment the next day. The lady who answered the phone was very professional. She emailed me the necessary paperwork and information prior to my visit. This makes things much easier for me. If you do not have a printer those papers are provided to you in the office. The office space was clean, calm and welcoming. For my appointment I did not have a long wait. Dr. Shawl was professional and easy to talk to. I felt like he listened to my concerns and asked the necessary follow up questions. After my examination and treating my ear issues, he gave me a referral to see an allergist which I was not surprised about. My ears are feeling much better since my visit. I have to schedule an appointment with the allergist and follow up with Dr. Shawl. Overall I am very satisfied with my first visit with Dr. Shawl.

Dr. Matthew Shawl was very personable and explained whatever he did. I found him easy to speak with. The office manager was personable as well. The office is welcoming and had great art work! Did not feel like a doctor’s office! Would definitely recommend him! It’s easy to get to once you exit the Union Square station.

Dr Shawl has an excellent practice. Short wait times, attentive care, and professional, clean, stylish office space. I didn't know I could expect this from a treatment provider and he's kind of spoiled me for visits to specialists and doctors in the future. Strongly recommend him if he's in your network.

Dr. Shawl is excellent. I’m especially thankful for his attention to detail and ability to equip patients with all of the information needed to make informed decisions. After years of being unable to breathe at night, I’m so happy to have found him & his practice.

Dr Shawl is a great doctor and made me feel extremely comfortable throughout my nose surgery journey. He understands what you need as a patient and goes above and beyond to help put you at ease / give you the right information. Would highly recommend seeing him for any ENT needs, incl surgery. Also his receptionist Melanija is great, extremely responsive and lovely.
