Dr. Yiling Huang

Dr. Huang was my family doctor when I lived in Elmhurst. She's an "old school" doctor who takes care of her patients. If you're sick, the staff fit you in for an appointment ASAP, and you don't feel like everything is money, money, money. There were a lot of doctors like this when I was a child, but this is rare now. I can also say that her prescription decisions matched up with the advice of the doctors at bigger hospitals I went to after I moved... so I presume that means she's up to date on the latest medicines and treatments. I'd still be seeing her today, but I moved away from the area. (Oh... a reviewer below mentions how she will actually return calls personally. This was definitely my experience as well)

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Huang for several years. She is very kind, smart and has great bedside manners. We feel very comfortable with her and her staffs. Dr. Huang is always very helpful with her fast response to my emails when I had emergency situations. For example: I had tick bites on the 4th of July week. She immediately called me back (eventhough it was a holiday!) and prescribed ATB for me right away. I am so impressed with her caring and professionalism. Highly recommended. I have been a patient of Dr. Huang’s for almost 30 years. Not only is she my primary care physician but she is also a friend. In all of the years that I have known her, she has always been very caring, concerned and very easy to work with. There is no red tape or bureaucracy when dealing with her or her office. The staff is super friendly and ultra efficient. There is no waiting hours or days for anything. Whether it be prescriptions or referrals, the girls at the front desk will get it done within minutes after your request. I highly recommend Dr. Huang and her office for anyone seeking a highly experienced and extremely knowledgeable general physician.

We met Dr. Huang out of chance when my wife needed to get a physical done for her immigration papers back in 2016. Little did we know that she would still be our PCP up to now. She’s a caring individual with great knowledge of medicine. We’ve been going to her for more than 3 years now and every experience has been as good as our first. She is very direct and at the same time, will do what Ian best to make you feel better. She also has a wonderful staff who are very accommodating and customer service oriented. Definitely would recommend her over and over again...
