Dr. Yevgeniya Kaykova

I have been a patient of Dr. Kaykova for over 15 years and I think she is an extremely knowledgeable and insightful doctor. Her bedside manners are the best. Dr. Kaykova is very responsive. Once I got sick while on vacation, called her office and had a prescription transmitted to the local pharmacy immediately, although it was in Puerto Rico. I trust this doctor with my health and highly recommend Dr. Kaykova.

This doctor has a holistic approach. She is very attentive and looks at your health overall, in depth. A very good diagnostician. We are happy she caught several problems right from the start.

I have been a patient for more than 10 years. Her attention to my health issues has been terrific. She has guided me through a barage of health problems. I would completely recommend her. My son also goes to her.

This review is for the staff, not the doctor. Unfortunately I cannot write a review about Dr Yevgeniya as I was unable to schedule an appointment. First attempt I was told by staff I cannot schedule until the Dr reviews my records to see if she can treat me. Sounded reasonable so I asked my doctor to send my records. A few days later I received a voice mail from the same staff member asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment so I assumed my records had been sent. I tried to call the office back the next day, no answer, no machine. Work got busy, I was unable to call back again for 2 days. Same staff member answered the phone, I politely gave my name, said I was returning a call to schedule an appoinment. The staff member's response was "well i called you Monday, you didn't respond." Feeling the need to defend my self and earn back my ability to schedule an appoinment I explained I was busy at work but I am calling now. I asked if my records were sent over, she responded no. I then asked why she was calling me to schedule an appoinment as she had told me the week before I was not able to do so until my records were reviewed. My time wasted. The content nor the tone of these calls were encouraging so I let her know I would be seeking out another doctor.

My mother fell and broke her neck. She was randomly assigned to Dr Yevgenia Kaykova at NYU Medical Center. Dr Kaykova told my mother that there was nothing wrong with her and that she should go home. My mother could not stand up let alone go home. Dr Kaykova exhibited what seemed to be depraved cruelty and incompetence. It was 8 nightmarish days until she took a few days off and I was able to get another doctor to refer my mother to a neurologist, who diagnosed her correctly. Avoid Dr Kaykova at all costs, your relatives will not survive her. I guess that's the way they treat patients in Russia. Wish there were negative stars for a rating.
