I last visited Dr Yasmin Metz about 3 years ago. Before that I had a terrible years-long bout with acid reflux and bloating. Other doctors I had visited simply told me it was acid reflux and to take a combination of Tums and Omeprazole. This was all fine and dandy except it was a short-term solution. It would always came back and I would always end up bloated, burping, coughing, and with that dreadful burning sensation. Dr. Yasmin Metz was the only doctor that took the time to figure out exactly what was wrong with me and set up a plan to deal with it. she diagnosed me with GERD, identified triggers, and suggested lifestyle changes. She also recommended I start taking probitoics. Honestly, she gave me back control of my life. I have flare ups here and there, but I haven't been back in 3 years because it is something she taught me I can manage. After my visits, I am definitely a fan and recommend her all the time. Doc, if you're reading this, thank you!!!

I have had a consistently poor experience with Dr. Metz and her office. Every time I have visited, there has been some kind of clerical error. These errors have ranged from wrong appointment times, incorrect tests ordered, wrong addresses for follow up exams. I cannot believe the unprofessional conduct of this office which, ultimately, impacts my own health and well being. When I spoke with Dr. Metz about these errors, she chalked it up to being “new system” and did not take any responsibility for how her admin team handled the day-to-day operations. Sure makes me wonder what’s going on behind the scenes. Go elsewhere if you can. If the basic stuff isn’t handled correctly, what else is being mismanaged?
