Dr. Wingtat Mui

I've moved away from NYC and no longer see Dr. Wingtat Mui, but I have to say, he's the best PCP I've ever had. His bedside manner is amazing: he takes the time to talk and get to know you as a patient, and truly makes you feel like he cares and it's reassuring to feel like I'm in good care. I don't think I'll ever find another PCP that made me feel as comfortable and safe as he had. The facility and staff are all wonderful. Truly, thank you

We've known Dr. Mui since my wife was pregnant with her first child 17 years ago from other clinics, and recently we also found out that he also manages his own clinic. We are so happy to see him again, as he is very passionate about what he does and you can clearly see that he loves his job as a doctor. All employees are really professional and the place is really clean! There's nothing bad to say about this place.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Mui end of September 2019. After seeing urgent care, virtual urgent care, having no luck booking appointments through my insurance to see a PCP (due to COVID much longer wait times), I found Dr. Mui! Even though it was out of pocket, his rate was super affordable, and I can tell based on the patients he sees, he really cares about everyone he diagnoses. He was very patient, wonderful bedside manner, and a clear gem in Chinatown. I only wish he would have a location in the Upper East Side! We would love to have Dr. Mui in the Yorkville area. :)

Dr.Mui is a really caring doctor. He uses his best ways to explain to me (as a patient) to understand the purposes and reasons of the treatments. He is so far the best doctor I have ever seen.

Dr. Wing Tat Mui is a great doctor, but the billing manager that seems to running things seems to have poor billing practices by having this ridiculous policy. Their rule is new patients with commercial/employer funded insurances can only be seen at certain times of the year, even though they are in-network and I believe have contractual obligations to see these patients at any reasonable time... This seems like discrimination and can get them into a lot of trouble. When I switch to bluecross blueshield insurance, which they are also in-network with, they refused me and said I have to pay cash because their billing manager says they're having issues with that insurance company. I'd be less annoyed if they told me they'd let me know when they resolve the insurance problem but they gave me the impression that they're not even trying to fix it and abandoning all patients with that insurance. I ended up having to find another PCP, which is very annoying because you have to repeat your medical history to someone else. I do not think the doctor himself is at fault for this but his billing manager running things the way she wants with little regard, or clueless to the legal implications she could be bringing to him. Its very frustrating that I have to find another primary care over this.
