Dr. Vincenzo Castellano

I've been a patient of Dr Castellano for over thirteen years. He's treated me for both shoulder and hip issues. Dr Castellano is a very talented and compassionate doctor. Over the years I have recommended family and friends to him for various reasons. I highly recommend Dr Castellano.

I went to seek Dr.Castellano’s help when all else wasn’t working for me. He is the most kind hearted down to earth human being. He took his time to thoroughly examined me and answer all questions I had. His staff is just as amazing and helpful. They booked all my appointments for me and constantly followed up with me. Today I can say I’m finally able to live pain-free thanks to him and HSS.

Dr. Castellano has an excellent bedside manner and explains conditions and treatments clearly and thoroughly. I highly recommend him.

Called for a new patient appointment. I was told to send my records and someone would get back to me. That was over a week ago. Someone left a message today. I returned the call to tell them nevermind, I went elsewhere but I got a recording. In the meantime I got an appointment and was seen at Weill Cornell Spine Center, had a thorough evaluation and left with suggestions, a plan and PT Rx. Very professional and thorough. I guess Dr. Castellano does not need new patients.

Very rarely write reviews, but this was such a waste of time and money I had too. After waiting approximately 1.5 hours for a noon appointment, I was finally seen by Dr. Castellano for less than 5 minutes. He asked me elementary high level questions about my neck pain, had me walk in a straight line and told me to go for a MRI. Never had me show him specifically where the pain was which was a problem. Sent me for a cervical MRI which showed nothing...not surprising given my pain is in the thoracic area. Maybe spending a little more time with patients before you send them for $4,000 MRIs that are not relevant. Thanks.
