I found Dr Bar-David after my toe was crushed at the gym with a heavy 45 lbs weight plate. After city MD was useless, I had to see a podiatrist at the very last minute as it was approaching 6pm. As my toe was partially severed and bleeding from the impact of the weight, my options were limited as it was late in the day. The office at Dr Bar-David was excellent. Not only did Dr Bar David stay with me way late giving me 12 stitches to reattach my toe, he was so professionally calm to compose my suffering. The toe is now healing in the third week and is great. And Foirelis is amazing! She was there helping to calm me with her ever pleasant temperament. I so highly recommend this office as my experience was top notice!!

Dr.Bar-David is simply the best, I will forever be grateful 🙏. I had the chevron procedure done on both my feet and if I had a third foot, I would choose Dr.Bar-David again. Dr.Bar-David explained the procedure step by step, answered all my questions made me feel comfortable. Excellent bedside manners. His medical assistant Foirelis is great. She helped me every step of the way. Thank you. Recovery was exceptional 🙌, pain was next to none, very minimal. I highly recommend Dr.Bar-David.

Dr. Bar-David is SO kind and has a bedside manner that immediately puts you at ease. Not only does he provide excellent care, but he’s also patient as you ask questions and never blows you off with glib answers. I’m a professional dancer and often, if you’re not in a show at the time of injury, doctors don’t take us seriously. Not Dr. Bar David—He trusts his patients and listens well and I cannot recommend him enough.

My physician recommended him. When I called the office, I was able to schedule an appointment for the following week. Dr. Bar-David is a friendly and compassionate podiatrist. The appointment was quick because he knew what to check for and he didn't waste time. He didn't try to upsell me on orthotics like I've seen other podiatrists do. He also takes insurance, which is rare for podiatry.

I had an unfortunate experience with Dr. Bar-David where I made an appointment at 2pm on 8/9 and was asked to come in at 1:15pm instead. I agreed and showed up only to find the waiting room full. As this was a visit during my work lunch break, I waited until about 2:10pm before asking the front desk receptionist what was happening. She confirmed that I had another patient in front of me and that Dr. Bar-David was performing a procedure on a patient and that he was really backed up. As I had to return to work, the next appointment in his midtown office was 8/23 and so after waiting 1.5 weeks to see him, I now have to wait another two? No thanks and on to the next podiatrist.
I'll add that you get the help that you pay for Dr. and if you have someone overscheduling you carelessly, this is not going to improve and I can imagine the same thing happening to others and the same frustrations arising too.
