Dr. Soifer was very professional with good bedside manners. Explained potential treatment plans for my knee problems. Waiting times are a little bit long and the office needs a makeover, but I am willing to overlook that because of Dr. Soifer.

I think Dr. Soifer has the potential to be a good doctor when he wants to be. I came in on a particularly busy day, and waited for about an hour and ten minutes (an hour in the main waiting room and ten minutes in one of the smaller rooms). He saw me because I had a hard time getting an appointment with my regular doctor there (family emergency, lack of appointments). Dr. Soifer didn't ask me about the history of my injury, in terms of how it affected my own body, and that was the part that most concerns me. He moved the part of my body with the injury around a lot, it was a bit painful, and finally decided that I needed to get another X-ray, MRI, and get fitted for a huge brace, even though my injury was over 12 weeks ago. After going back and forth into different rooms in the office for an X-ray and talking to the nice woman who fits patients for braces, I saw Dr. Soifer again. He was too busy writing down scripts to give me eye contact or listen to what I had to say, so I tried to walk out, as I was quite emotional from the whole experience. He told me he did care about my injury, as he came back into the room to answer more questions. I have a difficult time believing that he cared in that moment, but perhaps he has the potential to care under different / less busy circumstances. I don't think I'll be returning to see him, and I hope he takes time to really listen to people when they're talking. I also hope this office does a better job at booking appointment times for people so they don't have to wait over an hour just to see a doctor. Thanks for reading.
