I recently had finger surgery performed by Dr. Lee. I am a professional musician. Due to overuse and a hereditary predisposition for some hand issues, I had three prior hand surgeries. I had been traveling to Los Angeles to see Dr. Steven Shin, Cedars-Sinai for prior treatment. Dr. Lee was highly recommended to me and I sought treatment with him for a current issue. He was a 10+ on all scales: great surgeon, great bedside manner and just seems like a great human. If I have further issues I will not hesitate to seek treatment with Dr. Lee. For anyone that uses their hands for their living, it takes a great deal of confidence in a surgeon to allow them to take their livelihood in their hands, I would not hesitate for a moment to allow Dr. Lee to pursue any course of treatment that he would recommend, he has my full confidence. I am grateful to have found him and to have access to his amazing skill set and care.

Had a wonderfully effective ulnar nerve surgery with Dr.Lee and his team at HSS. They are efficient and work with the utmost care possible. Best hospital to visit, hands down.

Dr Lee recently did a trigger thumb 10 min release surgery that was highly successful as well as virtually pain free. He is a really skilled surgeon with a responsive office and great bedside manner. Highly commend.

I fell and broke fingers. I had met Dr Lee earlier in the year regarding my other hand. At that time he told me that operating on a chipped bone in the thumb on my other hand was a good and viable option. He told me to schedule the surgery. Then, two months later before scheduling the surgery, I fell. I went to Urgent Care at Lee's direction for x-rays which I brought him. Broken index finger, torn ligaments and a chipped bone in the other hand. I went back to him. He had me spend two months in a thumb caste and then basically dumped me. No follow up, no hand therapy. And then he told me I should not have surgery on the original thumb for which he was all set to schedule me. He is not worthy of the Hospital for Special Surgery. I went there because of past excellent experiences. Lee was a total FAIL.
