Dr. Stephen Costa

I can’t say enough about Dr. Costa. I have been going to him on and off for over 2 years. When I need him he’s always there to straighten me out. He fixes all of my aches and pains I have from my chronic conditions. DR. COSTA MADE ME ABLE TO FUNCTION AGAIN. He is the BEST. He makes you feel comfortable and he’s easy to talk to. His staff is very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend Dr. Costa to anyone seeking relief from neck or back pain. He’s #1 in my book.

My previous chiropractor had great difficulty adjusting my neck. Dr Costa was able to adjust it the very first visit and my neck felt fluid again. He spent so much time with me..I appreciated it.I won't go anywhere else. Great friendly staff. All on the first visit!!!

I have been to 6 chiropracters over the last 18 years and Dr Costa has been one of the best, if not the best. He is very knowledgable and is easy to chat with. His staff is fantastic, always friendly and smiling. He set me up with PT and weekly treatments and has made my lifelong back issues actually livable. I'll keep going here and will continue to recommend him to everyone who will listen.

I want to start my review with complete transparency. I have known Dr. Costa since high school and we have remained friends over the last 30 years. After seeing a chiropractor for an injury when I was 16 I have gone to chiropractors for the last 30 years for maintenance. I now live in Brooklyn and see two different chiropractors nearby and frequent The Joint Chiropractic whenever I travel. Out of all of the Chiropractors I have received adjustments from Steve is hands down the best. In my experience chiropractors fall into two different camps. One kind is too aggressive but get the job done and the other has a softer demeanor but I leave feeling cheated out of a proper adjustment. Steve is able to meld a proper adjustment with a professional bed side manner and takes the appropriate time even for a maintenance visit.

Very nice fellow and staff. Unfortunately a few weeks ago he "adjusted me" and one maneuver made me see a few stars and actually added a new pain in a new spot, which has persisted weeks later. Take that for what it's worth. He gets three stars for being friendly, and two stars off for moving me in a way my body just didn't like, (Those very same stars I saw when I was yowling in is office).
