Great gastroenterologist- thorough, efficient, and good bedside manner. Very down-to-earth. Saw her for a colonoscopy twice, and she and her team made the situation as bearable as a colonoscopy should be. Also, the best nap I’ve had in a long time. 😊

I saw Dr. Balzora for a scheduled colonoscopy two years ago. She and her team were informative, knowledgeable, warm, reassuring and kind. I wish I could remember the anesthesiologist's name because I learned from him that the nausea I experienced from a previous surgery years prior was actually a reaction and important info, so he adjusted the type that he used for this procedure accordingly. He was absolutely a gem. Also, the detailed information the entire team provided prior to the procedure was so helpful and easy to follow.

I hope you never need a gastroenterologist, but if you do, see Sophie Balzora. Wait time was brief. Her support staff is highly competent and friendly. And Dr Balzora demonstrates all the hallmarks of an exceptionally fine practitioner. She's efficient, thorough, communicates clearly, asks all relevant questions, pays attention to (and remembers) what you tell her, and follows up promptly. Additionally reassuring: she herself is the picture of health - and doctors who model self-care are invaribly most credible and best equipped, to teach it.

For the past few years I've had the unfortunate pleasure of being plagued with gastrointestinal issues. As a self-proclaimed "foodie" this has been super disheartening. After seeing multiple specialists to no avail, I found Dr. Balzora who meticulously went through potential causes and ruled them out one by one until we found the issue. She is super thorough and just made me feel at ease with everything, even with procedures. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a gastroenterologist. I give her two thumbs up as I head off to the lunch i can enjoy because of her. Thank you Dr. Balzora!!!
