Dr. Sohrab Virk

I do not often give doctors reviews unless they are very bad or exceptionally good, that being said, I really liked Dr.Virk. He was very kind and knowledgeable. He took time to explain what was going on and he even discovered something quite serious in my MRI film that the Lennox Hill doctor who wrote the report overlooked(that's what I get for trying to get things done quicker & not waiting for the NORTHWELL MRI appointment). I highly recommend Dr.Virk and NORTHWELL. UPDATE*** I wish I could give this doctor more stars. This year has been hard for me, I saw Dr. Virk after ending up in LIJ for a month & 2 months of rehab with a serious blood and bone infection that could've paralyzed me. Since it's not entirely gone & has the possibility of recurrence I started to panic when I started experiencing pain and pressure in the area that it occurred, Dr. Virks Physicians assistant, Sharon, called me to check up on me and update me several times a week until they got my MRI approved and you don't experience that to often nowadays. I cannot say enough about Dr. Virk and Sharon. I wish all doctors were this caring.

After 10 years of saying im not going for surgery, I spent them going for epidural shots from one doctor to another, it finally came down to know one could help me anymore. The only way i was doing surgery if it was minimal evasive!! I had surgery 10 years ago and it didnt work. I was extremely lucky enough to find Dr Virk!! He was absolutely amazing. He explained everything to me, my surgery wasnt straight forward, he had to do acouple of different things but he was so kind and caring and spent over one hr with me, step by step! I dont like recommending doctors but i would recommend Dr Virk in a heartbeat! Im doing great!

Dr.Virk..is a true professional with amazing bedside manners. I would highly recommend him to anyone. .

Dr. Virk is a Awesome, Compassionate Doctor.....

On June 24, I had an accident and I fell off a horse and I injured my L3 and L4. I appreciate Dr. Virk’s care.
