Dr. Sobha Gavani

I have been a patient of Dr Gavani for many years. She really cares about her parents. She calls me at home to check up on me after appointments or procedures.

I have been Dr. Gavani’s patient since 2019, when she began treating me for afib, and under her care, I have not had any episodes since. She is professional, positive, and helpful. I see her every three months to monitor my health. She not takes care of my heart issues, but also happily acts as my primary care physician, with all of the additional tasks that that entails. I would recommend Dr. Gavani to anyone.

Incredible! Dr. Gavani was thorough, patient and genuinely cared. You don’t find good doctors like her anymore. She ran all test, and even took the time to explain every image and chamber of my heart on the ultrasound. I cried when she was finished with the testing, because I’ve struggled for years with doctors that are dismissive or rushing to just get to the next patient. She even caught something my primary doctor for over 10 years recommended that was very harmful to my heart. If you’re looking for a cardiologist who cares about her patients, look no more. Dr. Gavani’s receptionist Sandra was so friendly and compassionate. I’m so happy I was able to get an appointment so fast, and with such an incredible cardiologist. Don’t book your appointment on Zocdoc I recommend you call first, especially so they have time to verify your insurance. I had to wait an hour because Zocdoc didn’t communicate with the office, but it was worth it!

Had an appointment at 11:30am, but showed up at 11 to fill out paperwork since I was a new patient. It was closed, so I left and came back at 11:20, and waited until 11:45 and no one showed up. I left and definitely plan to not come back. I even received a call from her secretary the evening before to confirm my appointment. Very unprofessional.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible bedside manner. Never on time for appointments. Doesn’t call back or even truly care.
