I’m very paranoid when it comes to the tiniest discomfort and get really anxious about being sick so I’m always scheduling appointments with Dr. Shi. She’s very patient with me and always calls to follow up to see how I’m doing. I’ve been seeing Dr. Shi for over 5 years now and have recommended her to many of my close friends. They all have great things to say about their experiences with dr. Shi! Also the receptionist desk is very good at answering calls and putting me through to the doctor. It’s definitely been a 10/10 experience for me all these years

First of all, the doctor gave me the wrong birth control pill two times. I've been taking birth control pills for years and there's a certain brand that I feel comfortable to use. When I saw the doctor and asked for a one-year prescription, I literally showed her a photo of the pill's package and specified that I wanted the same brand and type. A few weeks later, the pill came, and it's not the same brand. So I called the clinic and asked them to change the prescription. Three months later, the pill delivered to my place and it was wrong again!!!! How hard could it be to write down some simple English words and number correctly like "Junel Fe, 1/20, 28 days"??? Secondly, the wait time was terrible. I made an appointment and waited for at least one hour and a half. The other patient just walked in without making an appointment and she got to see the doctor earlier than me. So what's the point of making an appointment???? Based on my experience of going to this clinic, I'm pretty sure I won't go back there again because the doctor there keep prescribing me the birth control pill that I do not want. And the wait time is also too long.

I needed pressure stockings for my work condition which is covered by insurance. Dr. Shi refused to give the prescription because she is not a vascular doctor and I don’t have Varicose Veins yet. I said the stockings are for prevention because I stand for long duration at work. She refused. All my coworkers had their primary doctor practitioners prescribed pressure stockings, she is the only doctor who refuses to do so. She didn’t even ask me to go in to let her take a look or take my occupation in consideration before declining my request.

WORST EVER!!! I just have one of the worst experience ever. I wish I can give zero star. I arrived a bit early to check in, the receptionist asked me to show her my insurance card. My insurance is a group insurance, there is a number online, bit there is no physical card. Which I had no problems in other clinic. I had to log in to Trinet on my tiny phone, with frustration and horrible 20 mins struggling, I finally find my group insurance number. I showed it to the receptionist, she said no, I need your individual ID number. You need to call your insurance company to get it. But today is weekend, so they won't be available. I asked if she can let me see the doctor and send me my bill, she says no, there is no way she can do it. She said I could pay $80 in cash as a deposit. I don't have that much cash with me. And they don't accept credit card. I asked if she can reschedule me, she said, ok, in that case, I need to mark you an a no show patient and you can reschedule yourself on ZocDoc. I was furious. I felt like she has a attitude and not really trying to help me out here. After two hours Saturday morning wasted and I still not be able to see the doctor. Don't come here, find you self some helpful receptionist and a peaceful mind.
