Dr. Amar is what a doctor should strive to be like. She’s warm and welcoming, friendly and professional. She’s as smart as they come, and general cares about her patients and their well-being. She and her staff will make your visit feel more like an old fashioned house call. I travel from Queens to Brooklyn to see her, and would not trust the care of my foot and ankle to anyone else.

I have been a patient of Doctor Amar since 2017. My husband jose has also been a patient of hers since 2017. We love Doctor Amar. She is gentle and caring and her staff has ALWAYS AND I MEAN ALWAYS been respectful. When my husband started seeing her I was afraid of the possibility of my husband losing his foot. My husband is a diabetic. She reassured us that he would get better and he did. Doctor Amar answered all our questions and treated my husband with lots of care. Its amazing how beautiful Doctor Amar is. In my book , Doctor Amar and her staff are the best. May god bless each and everyone of them.

I saw Dr. Amar awhile ago and gave a stellar review then. Today, Dr. Amar totally amazed me and I would give 10 stars if possible. There was some miscommunication between the receptionist and doctor. The receptionist gave me a 5pm visit. I arrived a minute or two after 5pm and was told Dr. Amar left for the day. I called reception to see what happened and Dr. Amar called me right away. She then came back to the office for our visit. As last time Dr. Amar was professional, caring and helpful.

Dr. Shazia Amar is one of the best health care providers I have ever had. Shazia Amar not only is highly professional + skilled in her profession, but she is also emotionally intelligent and makes all of her patients feel incredible. Dr. Amar is able to tell when you are nervous, conflicted, and most importantly offer you the best solutions, assistance and practice. I have trusted Dr. Amar to operate on my right foot for reasons I rather keep private, however, this surgery was one I did not want to undergo unless it was done by one of New York City’s best podiatrist. I truly recommend you visit doctor Amar, even if its for a consultation. I usually do not leave reviews, but I have never experienced a service quite incredible from the kind receptionists to the amazing doc herself! Super impressed and satisfied with my surgery. Truly truly truly no other like her. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions!

I had a horrible experience with this podiatrist, and I’m never returning. During my first visit for foot pain, she applied an ace bandage, which made my pain worse. I returned the following week, and she told me I shouldn’t use the ace bandage anymore because it was putting pressure where I had the pain. She suggested an MRI, but I no longer trusted her opinion because of the flip flopping. My pain ended up going away with ibuprofen, rest, and not wearing shoes or a bandage for a week. Then I got my insurance bills. The first bill made sense as a new doctor visit. The second bill for my follow up was more expensive and had a diagnostic code for “Remove diseased toenail bed” when all she did was look at my foot. I will be disputing that second bill, and I highly recommend avoiding this doctor.
