Doctor Sarah Kimble is one of a kind: so gentle, thorough and knowledgeable. She's the way every doctor should be. I'm grateful I found her. Thank you, Doctor Kimble!!!

Dr.Kimble is the best PCP I ever had. She’s very attentive, she’s knowledgeable, and she’s a very nice person. She really does want her patients to get better.
As I see in other reviews, most people complain about their patient portal and the staff at the office. I personally didn’t have any problems with the staff. As for the portal, it does take some time for the doctors to respond. That’s why you’ll have more luck receiving a response the old fashioned way, by calling the office. And the portal is more of a Northwell problem, there’s no reason to lower the doctors’ ratings because of it.

Ditto on Artem's Review
Dr. Kimble is the best PCP I've had in a long time. I have many comorbidities and can be a challenge to treat and review topics within a given visit. She takes the time I need, and I was referred to her specifically for that reason. They apparently know how to bill for high-risk patients so they have appropriate visit times. This is HUGE for me. I don't want anyone going broke because they give me the time I need, and I also learned that there are codes for patients who require more time (from a relative who specializes in insurance billing... and fraud).
But, that's not all. She's just and excellent clinician. She is able to grasp my comorbidities and help me with reasonable recommendations.
As for communications and staff. Well, she doesn't control the portal and technology. Like many practices, they had to join with a large hospital system a few years ago. This development is common across healthcare, which results in integration of systems and staff, etc. Northwell is okay, improving, in my opinion. It's much better than it was when some of these reviews were written a couple of years ago. But it also has some latent issues with the portal. For urgent questions, either ask by phone or call the office to ask them to let her know there is a question waiting for them. That last part would apply to any Northwell practice, imo.
I've butted heads with the staff, I admit. But I'm also a complex patient as mentioned above. And unfortunately, for a stretch of time I had some very rough symptoms from multiple chronic conditions, and it affected my energy, punctuality, and accuity. Stuff happens. I'm not going to change my rating for that. Besides, they actually have been good on getting messages through and doing scheduling, handling prescriptions, and ensuring info I upload or sent from other doctors is delivered to the doctor.
5 stars stands. If you're POed at the staff, don't kill the Dr on the review.
Good luck... But don't take my visit spot. Cheers.

The actual visit for my annual physical went well however getting an explanation of the results has been difficult. I've called her office at least 5 times over 3 weeks and even emailed her through their portal for Dr. Kimble to call me but yet to hear back. It's quite frustrating since there are concerning things on my results that I don't want to have to stress about but I don't know how to interpret and want to address since health is a priority. I'll be switching primary care physicians shortly as it was also difficult to get an appointment with her in the first place.

As a relatively new patient I have to say Dr. Kimble is NOT attentive to my needs. Dr. Kimble does not read her messages on the patient portal and the staff at the office are very rude. I have called and only receive excuses for emails not being answered. Today I called and was hung up on!! How unprofessional
