First time seeing Dr. Akuoku and he was so pleasant. Great bed side manners and seem to genuinely care. I get very nervous seeing the doctor but he made me feel at ease. The staff is very professional and friendly as well. Nothing but great vibes at this office.

Nice guys at the desk - even when you don't get to see the foot doctor. Also, harder and harder to see our excellent Dr. Akuoku. Facility is as handsome as ever.

Dr Akuoko is a great doctor. I was referred to him by a family that he has taking very good care of for years. However, over the years it seems as if they set you up to see other doctors because he is always busy. If he is suppose to be my primary doctor, why would I be seeing anyone else. (The toss you around) The heavy set african female doctor saw me the last time and because of her I will no longer be a patient here. She wasnt very concerned with what was going on with my health but instead she kept telling me they dont do no fault cases. I tried to tell her I didnt care about a case I just needed to know why my face was twisted to one side and why I couldnt hear out of my ear. I simply wanted some test ran and she basically told me she cannot send me for a MRI because she needed a reason. My reason is I hit my head during the accident but she still declined. So insensitive and she never even got up out of the chair nor cut on the light so we basically set in a dark room. Dr Akuoko has lost a long time patient. As for the front desk staff, they always seem to be holding conversations with each other or patients. Yall have to do better

Love to see my Black African American people in business, however horrible staff members and nurse practitioners. Nurse Jenni was very rough and was in such a haste to stick me with a needle that she didn’t even find my vain, the Indian nurse lacked the knowledge of the type of medication I was on and refuse to give me a reason as to why is she putting me on a new medication. This place was very loud with the most unprofessional people in the medical field I ever came across, Never will I recommend anyone to NYC Laureton Medical Central

Unprofessional staff, very loud, do not allow patients to talk, talk over patients, do not listen to patients but are wonderful at covering up patient complaints. I'm surprised Dr Akuoku allows such bad behavior by employees that represent him. Such a shame.
