Dr. Scher Pirro is exceptional in what she does. I'm 72 years old and I have been going through a difficult time because of my psoriasis arthritis, a stent in my heart, etc. With doctor Scherpirro I am back to normal again. I'm back in action and I want to do things again. She got me out of that depression mood. Thank you doctor.

The staff at LIMC have always been good for my health needs. First, with physician assistant Sam Fasscancht and then with Dr. Scherpirro, I have been given great quality health care. Thank you always for your assistance.

I have been a patient here for about 10 months. For the all but one of my appointments I have seen the Physicians Assistants and once by Dr Scherpirro. I have had no issue with the medical care I have received. My issues are with the Winthrop NYU Langone call center and the back office at Dr. Scherpirro's office. The people that answer the phones. I called to make an appointment on Friday 11/9/18 and after waiting approximately 45 seconds I was offered to keep holding or they could call me back without losing my place in line. I continued to hold for approximately five minutes. And than I decided to accept the option to receive a call back. The automated attendant asked if the phone # I was calling from was the best phone # to reach me and I push the appropriate button. After waiting 35 minutes I called the phone # again and was picked up shortly after my call. I asked if it was the Doctors office or the call center and was told I was speaking to the Doctors office. I started to explain that I had left a message 35 minutes ago and was suppose to receive a call back. The person on the phone said they didn't have a message to call me. I tried to explain that the message was left with the call center and it was clear that the person on the phone had no idea of there being an outside the office call center and without any notice put me on hold. I held for over 5 minutes and another women named Debbie picked up, with an attitude saying, "What can I do for you?" When I said I was just put on hold for over 5 minutes without notice she cut me off and again said what can I do for you in the same tone. We made the appointment and I asked to speak to her supervisor. The Supervisor just got back to me today Wednesday 11/14/18 and while she was very apologetic about the call center not calling me back, she would not take any responsibility for being put on hold without notice or the rude tone from Debbie. She actually said that she has never heard Debbie ever having an attitude with any patients. I'm going to find a new Doctor's office!
