Dr. Cohen is an excellent doctor and a caring one as well. She has been my grandmother's physician for many years. She responds to emails, gives excellent referrals and is a true family doctor. She will give a personal phone call when she knows something is going on with your health. The practice (there are a number of doctors at that office) does have a strict rule about lateness for annual physicals; the 15 minute grace period is strictly enforced. That has nothing to do with whether or not Dr Cohen is a good doctor.

Dr. Cohen is so wonderful. She was incredibly thorough, empathetic, and understanding. She is truly excellent.

wouldn’t see me when I was 10 minutes late. Asked if she could give me 5 minutes to look at a lump on my neck and said no because I had technically missed my appointment. Clearly does not actually care about her patients. You can’t call her office directly to let them know you are running late either.

My pregnant wife (8 months) had an appointment with the Dr. Cohen at 1.15 PM. As she is pregnant she was unable to move as quickly as she could and showed up 15 minutes late at 1.30 PM. She had no means of contacting them to tell them she was running late as she was underground in the subway. Showing up to the doctors office she was told in the most rude and condescending manner that because she was late the doctor would not see her. Even after explaining she was PREGNANT, coming 1 hour away from queens, and in 85 degree whether the front desk did not care or show any empathy towards this. They never made it clear that late appointments would not be honored. But how you can coldly turn away a pregnant woman for being just 15 minutes late is beyond me.
Working in the healthcare field myself, having empathy is a critical component in dealing with patients of all conditions and constraints. These people have ZERO EMPATHY or understanding. They don’t care about helping patients.
Stay away from this practice and it’s rude, snobby, un-empathetic people that have no interest in serving patients.

The worst place ever. I made an appointment for my annual physical on zoc doc. I showed up on time. The staff checked me in. I waited for 45 minutes to find out Rachel Cohen couldn’t see me anymore. Completely wasted my time. Not sure how you accept an appointment, check a patient in and tell them after almost an hour the doctor can’t see them any more. Completely unprofessional!!!
