Dr. Remy is an adequate G.I.; however, my experience as a patient was full of difficulties and issues. Most of the time, I felt ignored and neglected by one of the Receptionist who stated that her name was, “Evetta” and some other staff at the front desk when attending my scheduled appointments. The level of service was poor unprofessional and communication practices of staff (to patient) and the responsiveness of staff in this medical clinical environment was singled out as a weakness in the system that need to be improved. It felt very difficult and inconvenient to engage with staff that showed “no eye contact” when I really needed to ask significant questions of high importance regarding my health and especially in attempt to attain my medication refills. For example, due to staff’s negligence and unresponsive ness I have currently been out of my very important medication for weeks (This occurred within several periods of time..smh). Ultimately, I transitioned my medical treatment services to another G.I. medical clinic under Mount Sinai and which resulted as a great decision where I am receiving better quality service and attention towards my health and condition.

I would not recommend this medical clinic to anyone especially a patient with a chronic medical condition. The front desk operation need to better organize, get themselves together and pay better attention to their patients and their conditions with more concernHowever, Dr. Remy provided me with good advise and assisted me with courtesy when providing me the referral and medical records to transition my medical services to Mount Sinai clinic. Hopefully, I will be able to attain my meds easily there.
