Dr. Penta is among the finest, professional, helpful (read: "healing") physicians I have had the good fortune to find. He is consistently thorough during examinations both during the physical portion and his questioning to determine my present condition. Some doctors I've seen have been hurried and impatient. Dr. Penta is patient, giving me the time and answers to questions I need. He makes sure that I understand my diagnosis and exactly what I can and cannot expect in terms of improvement (I am older and living with normal deterioration of my body!). His referrals and guidance are exactly what I need to live well with the discomfort and sometimes pain of arthritis and a no-longer young spine. I cannot recommend him more highly.

I found Dr Penta's manner very straightforward and subtly humorous. He struck me as a perfect doctor for New Yorkers.

If I kept seeing Dr Penta, I would most likely not be alive. I saw him at least two times for nerve pain in my lower left back, and both times he prescribed physical therapy as the solution. Over the course of 6 months, my pain increased. I then sought a second opinion where this orthopedist ordered an MRI that revealed a huge tumor on my kidney , stage 3 cancer, and caught it just in time. Please stay away from Dr. Penta
