Dr. Tipu is a ray of sunshine. He listens to his patients and makes suggestions. He is very compassionate doctor. Wish all doctors would be like him. Definitely would recommending him.

Dr Tipu is absolutely amazing and truly cared about his patients. However his front desk staff needs serious retraining. They’re so disrespectful over the phone, they keep you on hold on purpose or send you straight to voicemail when they see you’re trying to call back. And when you finally get one of them on the line you’re confronted with the nastiest attitude, in person is no different when you meet the lazy women behind the desk.

Dr. Tipi is very nice and professional but the reception suff on McDonald Ave is terrible. At first they never call you to remind time and verify if you can come or not . Also they are rude in person when you come in .

Dr Omer Tipu is absolutely unprofessional. His office and every single one of his secretaries are unethical and have absolutely no care or compassion for their patients. These people are absolute monsters. They are all in it for the money and business. My mother has been a patient of Dr. Omer Tipu for many years. Recently she had a heart attack. Dr. Tipu's office has never suggested giving her an angiogram or the stress test evaluations needed for patients with extreme high blood pressure and high cholesterol. She has complained about tightness in the chest and shortness of the breath. She has been a patient at this office and has been going for checkups at least every 4 months, but still they were unable to help her. Despite all of this, after my mother's heart we had to rush her to the emergency room because her blood pressure rose to 200/106. It was dangerously high. After several hours and several tests in the emergency room, our emergency room doctor told my mom she needs to contact her primary care doctor and tall to him about increasing her blood pressure dosage. Her cardiologist is out on vacation until March 10th and her office also instructed that we contact out primary care doctor Dr. Tipu for help. After she had her heart attack she was assigned a set of medical and told to discontinue her old medications. However, being that her blood pressure is consistently higher and above 160/90 each day we have no other choice but to rush to the emergency room if it climbs to 200/100. Dr. Omer Tipu should be ashamed of himself. I've lost all respect for this man and the people that he has working for him. Each time I call they either ignore my phone calls or send me to an answering machine. My mother can't get a hold of her primary care doctor Omer Tiipu or any of his nurses or staff. It is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional.

Omer Tipu may seem professional and nice at first but when he wants to go off he’s completely insensitive to his patients and does not care about the things he is saying. I was asking him general questions about my blood test results to understand every thing that came out of range. On paper the “healthy” ranges that were listed were different than the one’s he was verbally telling me about and when I questioned why is that he went completely off and began insulting me. He literally started yelling at me and saying very insensitive things while I sat there completely in shock. I have never experienced such a thing from a doctor before and was very shocked to see the unprofessional behavior that was shown here. If a patient can’t ask a doctor legitimate questions about their health then who else would they ask? Horrible horrible experience left me very disturbed for a few days. He really needs training on keeping his patience and not letting his personal matters interfere with his consultation with patients. Had to change my PCP because of this. The other review saying “Snake in suit” is an understatement.
