HALLELUJAH! After being failed by doctors in two hospital visits at two different hospitals, GOD Blessed my father to finally see Dr. Oji and get the care, advice, and dedication he needed to overcome a severe bowel impaction that lasted weeks and was destroying his life. Plus, after that visit, she followed up the next morning with a call to our home!!! How reassuring that was! She has an old-fashioned, small-town doctor's approach to treatment. Although the waiting period once we got there was longer than expected, I am praiseful everything worked out!

Don't waste your time! Full disclosure: this review isn't regarding the care of the doctor, as I never got to see her. Consider yourself lucky if you get a legitimate appointment. I called in to make an appointment was told that Dr. Oji has Saturday hours at the Utica location. The appointment was confirmed for 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 9th. Today, August 9th at 9:45 a.m. I have just been told that I do not have an appointment. Additionally, I am told that the doctor does not begin to see patient until 9 a.m. Excuse me? Come again? What happened next really blew my mind, the receptionist brought over a SPIRAL NOTEBOOK and stated, "I do not see your name in here". In this day and age, you mean to tell me that appointments are written in a notebook? She then told me I would have to speak to someone else to determine when I can be seen. I spoke to the next person who told me she would be with me soon. Apparently, wiping off the reception counter and then calling someone else while I waited was more important. I think she forgot about me because I went to the desk and she told me she would be with me in a minute. I walked out. I don't know why it took me so long to leave. The warning signs were prevalent. ALL of the patients in the waiting area were complaining. I learned that the office gives appointment times but do not honor them. You must arrive 1 to 2 hours BEFORE your a.m. appointment time to stand a chance of getting out of the office by 3 p.m. (This is was stated by more than one patient). Friends of the staff are seen first. I was also told the service is worse at the Fulton location. A few other patients in the waiting area were changing doctors because of the horrible service. Its a shame because I hear the doctor is nice. Needless to say, I will not be returning. Customer service is non-existent here. The office is in desperate need of an office manager and technology. If you have a day to waste and like horrible treatment, this is the place to be!
