Thanks to Dr. Ghodsi, I'm living well past the age of my Father, who died at the early age of 57 from major heart issues. She is very caring, knowledgeable, and thorough. A major plus is her follow-up after medications and blood pressure monitoring are prescribed. Also, she responds quickly to questions I post on My Chart, a Mount Sinai app. In addition, her office staff is very diligent in ensuring that appointments are scheduled for X-rays and other examinations and that prescriptions are filled. I highly recommend Dr. Newsha Ghodsi.

Dr. Ghodsi is saving my elderly father’s life. She is brilliant, intuitive, compassionate, and thorough. I trust her completely. She treats my father with patience, respect, and kindness. She makes him feel that she GENUINELY cares about him. He always leaves her office feeling reassured and hopeful. She has solved many problems for us. So grateful.

Dr.Ghodsi is simply fabulous! Thorough, personable, unrushed, competent, caring, and explains everything carefully & in detail. She puts your total health absolutely first. Her staff is similarly terrific. Taya, her ECG tech, is similarly personable, competent, caring, unrushed, and focused on all the details of the tests. Her receptionists are helpful, friendly, and respectful. If you need a cardiologist, see Dr. Ghodsi!!!!!

Not acceptable - I have a heart condition was making an appointment and the earliest appointment I was given was over 4+ months away. I have gone to her in the past and she was very thorough - I don't know if it is the receptionist who takes appointments who's giving me a hard time but this is obviously not the way a cardiologist should treat a sick patient! Wonder how many patients died before seeing her?

Would not recommend this doctor, even if your primary care physician does. In my experience, they have zero care for new patients, terrible administrative processes, and can not be trusted. My doctor, also with Mount Sinai, referred me to Ghodsi over a month ago. I've called ten times and left numerous messages seeking an appointment. Haven't received a call back or heard anything, so I had to go back to my doctor for another referral. Do yourself a favor and go to another cardiologist, especially if you have serious concerns about your heart.
