Dr. Hussein is a great provider — clear, thorough, and kind. I would recommend her strongly to anyone looking for a rheumatologist.

I thought that Dr. Hussain was going to actually be the rheumatologist for me. She did a thorough intake and is an active listener. However, when it came down to addressing my care needs, she didn’t offer much at all. I have fibromyalgia, which she diagnosed me with. However, her and her team weren’t able to direct me to a physical therapist who works with fibromyalgia patients, and didn’t have resources at all. Okay, sure. But then when I needed her to fill out a form for my disability case she said “I don’t do that, because I believe fibromyalgia patients can do everything ‘normal’ people do” She’s prescribing me a daily pain medication, but yet still believes that this condition doesn’t have an impact. So if you’re looking for a doctor who actually believes that FIBROMYALGIA is real, not just a way to get you out of her office, than please, please, please go elsewhere. I was left scrambling for a new rheumatologist, and without one, I was denied disability and now have to go to court. I know it’s hard to vet every doctor, especially since rheumatologists are so booked out, but please don’t spend your time on a doctor who won’t believe you. She also doesn’t believe in treating long Covid, and has no knowledge (she said so herself)
