I'm very pleased with the care I receive from Dr. Katlowitz. I find he is never double booked and the office seems to run quite smoothly. I've seen him four times and my experiences have been good.

Seems like the Doctors office screwed up my insurance some how, they failed to tell me in advance that the insurance the Doctor is listed as taking did not cover the reason I had visited him. They also listed the primary reason for my visit wrongly to my insurance company. Of course they covered themselves by getting me to sign a paper stating that if my insurance company did not cover the service, I would be responsible. But my reason for the visit was already well known has not eligible for insurance by my company (United Health Care) by the person at his office who deals with insurance claims. So I feel a bit duped by them. What ever you do, do not sign anything that makes you liable to cover what your insurance does not and check with your insurance company before you visit. His manner leaves a bit to be desired also (Big Doctor, Little You) He seemed in a hurry, like he was trying to get rid of me and on to the next wallet. He may be a good Dr, but my experience was unsatisfactory. And P.S. his office is terrible about returning phone calls, had to get in touch with and most recently I tried leaving a message with his answering service only to be told, by a live human being, that they could not help me. What's up with that?

I sought out this MD thinking he was an expert. Being am RN for over 40 years I was shocked and awed at how unprofessional this Dr. was. He uses crude and somewhat foul language, which is quite demeaning. Psychologically as well as emotionally, this may cause potential damage. This issue should of been handled with the utmost sensitivity, which he lacks. I'm sure there are others who share similar experiences....

Sent me home wearing a catheter. Need I say more? Actually, yes I do. He was extremely rude and made a comment about my weight. He may work with private parts, but proved that he is also a private part. I never went back.
