I went to Northwell Health on Staten Island for a urinary infection. It persisted for over a month, after a course of 3 different antibiotics,I was very concerned. Although the Dr. recommended a specialist NOT ONE of the Northwell Specialists on SI would see me until the end of Nov. In desperation I mentioned this to the ANGEL on the phone from Patient Access Svcs.,on Fri Oct 4th as I tried to get an earlier appt. She mentioned Dr. Feuerstein , put me on hold, coming back to say he would see me that day!. A wonderful, extremley competent, caring Dr. He took time to reassure me, explain everything as well as why this course of treatment. All the symptoms were gone within 2days . I also want to thank Jane Lee the administration Mgr. who was absolutely wonderful to me when I arrived late due to the delays getting o NYC from SI. I cannot tell you how stressed I was that day and how much I appreciated your kindness.

Dr. Feuerstein is an incredible Urologist and Surgeon. I had been diagnosed with an aggressive bladder cancer. He had always listened to my concerns on my choice on the options that he gave me for my surgery. He was always very clear in his explanation of the consequences of my choice. EVERY time I called the answering service with a concern during the evening or weekends he ALWAYS returned my calls promptly. His dedication to help me as best he can on my choice has earned my respect. I highly recommend Dr. Feuerstein.

Very knowledgeable and personable. He took the time to explain exactly what the lab results meant and what had to be done next. Called later that evening to tell me the results of that day's labs and to talk through the next steps. He's impressed me quite a bit.

I am trying to get my medical records for over 5 weeks. There is a form that says to fax your request. I have sent the fax over 3 times. When I called to find out what is the delay they admin told me to email my request. I emailed my request and it has been over 11 working days. How to I get MY OWN RECORDS. This is insane. Dr could be great but I can't even see my own charts.

(07/26/18) Update: After this horrible procedure, more testing and multiple specialist, I was diagnosed with "Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Osteoporosis and metabolic disorder" 3 procedures within 8 months was brutal. Most days I can barely stand or walk. Kidney pain was due to antacid I was on for decades, not kidney stones. This guy is terrible! He couldnt care less about his patients! I shouldnt have been medically cleared to have the procedure do to my IgG deficiency and other health issues. I would give this doctor 0 stars If I could. I had a Lithotripsy procedure done on my right side. I had 6 stones ranging from 5mm to 7.5mm When I woke up after the procedure, I immediately felt the pain and saw my own blood all over my junk. It freaked me out. I was discharged with 20 low dose painkillers that didnt even scratch the surface of the pain. I ended up back in the Emergency room countless times. When I spoke to him, he told me "to take Advil" Are you kidding me! I wanted to hang myself the pain was so BAD! I hope you experience the same pain you have caused me.
