Dr. Michael Afshari

Dr. Afshari is an excellent doctor. He is very knowledgeable , patient and very easy to talk to. He makes you feel comfortable so those uncomfortable questions become easy to ask. I wished I had him as my doctor my entire adult life. His assistant is very professional and comforting as well.

This guy is delirious. Arrogant, money-driven, selfish person. I got false insurance claims coming from this guy, he's been charging my insurance thousands of dollars for services he never gave. Already reported him. Stay away from this quack doctor!

Worse MD ever. I went there for my yearly follow-up just to get bcp because I recently moved. I've been taking bcp for 10+ years and had no problem with a 90 days supply mail in order till now. This MD does NOT know how to use the computer and has been giving me 30 days supply with no refills. That means, I would have to call every month since May! I've been asking for 90 days supply, with refills. I've called multiple times, but it still has not resolved. Please don't bother going to him. Waste of time!

My mother went to this doctor because her OBGYN was on vacation. She was in a lot of in pain and had various other symptoms. He recommended a pap smear and ultrasound, and after receiving the results, told her she was fine. My mother's symptoms continued so she went back to her long time OBGYN who did a biopsy which indicated she had endometrial cancer. This doctor should not be practicing!!! Had my mom not returned to her doctor, she could have died because of the negligence and lack of knowledge of this so-called doctor!!! I returned to Afshari's office to get my mom's records only to find the office with patient files open and unattended. When the doctor finally came out, I told him I was going to report him and he started yelling at me that he didn't care. He then charged me 75 cents for 3 pages of records!!! He has no morals and clearly is incompetent. DO NOT put your health in this man's hands!!! Do your research beforehand and choose a trusted knowledgeable doctor!
