I really like Dr. Barkoff. He's easy to talk with. Meets you right where you are. He's clearly there to be of as much help as he can. Very down to earth. I absolutely recommend him. Office folks and nurse assistants are also great.

I highly recommend Dr. Barkoff and he came highly recommended to me. I went to his office for foot pain. The office was pleasant, clean and comfortable. I was welcomed by a caring, friendly and HAPPY staff. Dr. Barkoff very attentive, knowledgeable, a good listener and helped me with my foot pain. He prescribed orthotics and they are working really well. Making an appointment was easyand the office is very friendly and well run. I was very happy with my treatment and experience in Dr. Barkoff’s office. I’d definitely rate 10/10.

Dr. Barkoff has been treating my daughters big toenail that had gotten damaged. Once a month he has been shaving it down and doing a laser treatment on it. The change in just four sessions has been amazing!

I have been having sporadic ankle pain that would not go away for several months. I eventually decided to see a specialist (my GP would only mention physio therapy, which I did myself at home but would't fully resolve the problem). I checked Dr. Barkoff based on a family recommendation. I was happy to get an appointment within 48h. When I arrived at the appointment, I was met with a nurse then with Dr. Barkoff promptly. He listened to my description of my problem attentively. After taking X-rays, he arrived at a diagnostic and suggested several treatment options. I selected one, which he began to implement immediately. So far it seems to be working. I am very happy with the visit. The practice is small and low key. There was no wait time. The doctor is attentive and to the point. I would definitely recommend to others. UPDATE--I am now down to my third visit. We started another treatment that is based on laser therapy. This seems to work. I am still very happy with Dr. Barkoff and with this particular practice. I especially appreciate the fact that appointments start on time and that the practice is pretty convenient to access.

I was recently referred to Dr. Ferguson (Dr. Barkoff's partner) through a mutual friend re: foot surgery. The doctors and the staff are very helpful and are extremely knowledgeable as well. I've received nothing but top level treatment both in the hospital, as well as in their Manhattan office. Thank you New West Podiatry for your outstanding care!
