Dr. Mark Ilyagu

Dr. Horowitz has been my Dr. for 25 years. I have never had anything other than a positive experience with him and his staff. He listens and asks questions to make sure I am receiving the best care possible. His staff is AMAZING and have always been so kind and caring. I don’t mind traveling from Brooklyn to see him because I know that I am receiving the best care possible!

He has been my doctor for over 15 years. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. When I am living out of town and need to see a doctor I travel back to see him. He and his staff are professional and also friendly. He inspired me to go into medicine and emulate him. He is second to none on patient doctor interaction, diagnoses and referrals. The absolute best. #familypractice

You can tell just from walking in that this is warm community environment that has been cultivated carefully. I felt very well taken care of by the doctor and medical assistant. The reception staff are kind and helpful as well!

Dr. Horowitz has a lot of experience and gives a good, competent, caring exam. I felt like I was in capable hands at all times which is the most important criteria to me. If you need more attention or out of office care, good luck finding it here or anywhere else in this day and age. To his credit, Dr. Horowitz provides a direct email address and direct office phone number. SUMMARY: The experience with Dr. Horowitz and his staff is competent and professional, but not overly sympathetic. If you need hand-holding or something more than a competent, professional exam, this choice might not be for you.

Nice doctor, and his nurse is also good. Beware however, his front desk receptionist has no manners, and will talk down to you if you need clarification on something. She consistently confused my appointments for in-person when I clearly told her I wanted to request an telemedicine visit. She is very dismissive and it's the reason i've left this doctor and never recommended him to anyone because of his untrained front desk, it would reflect poorly on me to have someone deal with her. She also picks up an attitude if you ask her to repeat critical information. As a professional, I won't tolerate this. No one should be treated poorly just to get access to medical help. She is doing a disservice to the Doctor who is good.
