Dr. Courey is EVERYTHING!!! A flawless surgeon but also just a really nice guy. If you are also trans and you get misgendered because of your voice I highly suggest going to him for a glottoplasty. It has changed my life, my confidence and the experience of speaking and getting correctly gendered is such an interesting indescribable feeling. Also Sarah Brown is simply wonderful and very helpful and patient- she works with Dr. Courey and does the voice lessons. Thank you soooooooo much Dr. Courey for helping me with my confidence! -Venus

Met with Dr Courey and his fellow today for a minor issue. Great bedside manner, reassuring and knowledgeable. Also was kind and understanding during laryngeal exam ( I have a hyper sensitive gag reflex). Would recommend him and his team.

Dr. Courey treated a precancerous growth on my Dad's trachea. His surgical skills were top notch. My Dad was really nervous about the surgery. Dr. Courey took the time to explain the procedure and what to expect. The surgery went well, my Dad healed quickly. The expertise, skill and empathy this doctor displays makes him someone we highly recommend.

I’m gonna make this short and simple . About a couple years I had went in for tracheal shave and came out botched by a different surgeon . My voice lost all its range and sounded raspy and muffled . People would tell me it sounded like it hurt to talk . Not only was I embarrassed of my voice, i started giving up on everything I was so upset and depressed. I never realized how routine everyday simple tasks would be so impossible. I would get so much anxiety when I had to use my voice it made my life a living hell. I physically could not scream either , in a moment of danger I’m not sure what I would do and it made me feel so helpless . Dr Courey not only has changed my life so much , he’s given me a reason to smile . My voice is back to normal , and with a higher pitch. Words can’t describe how it feels to wake up in the morning and not have to worry have anxiety or even second guess. My life has changed for the better and I will forever be thankful..... I am grateful I found you !! Thank you Dr Courey from the bottom of my heart!
