Dr. Maria Musso is a caring doctor. She takes her time with you and listens to all of your medical and emotional concerns. Her nursing staff also have great gentle hands when taking blood.

I have been coming to doctor for a while she very detailed and concern about her patience her staff on the other hand can’t care less . Every time I come for a checkup or sick I have to wait over two hours. Today for example I need to be clear for surgery and I got here at 2 and I’m still her 2 hrs later just for them to take blood and my blood pressure. I ask to speak to someone and twenty minutes later am still waiting. One day after waiting over three hours I left. Without seeing the doctor . I have to call over and over to get an answer because if I leave a message my calls don’t get return. Great doctor but something has to be done about how the conduct business.

Have been trying to get a hold of these people for days to get prescriptions called in to the pharmacy. Finally got through to someone and let them know that the prescriptions are desperately needed because my mom is a diabetic and only has 2 more pen needles (for insulin pens) left. When i got off the phone with them i was under the impression she was calling in what was needed. Waited a few minutes to give them time to call it in to the pharmacy then called the pharmacy to find out how soon i could pick up what was called in. Pharmacy said nothing had been called in yet. Another few minutes later the dr office calls and said the dr needs to see my mom before calling in anything to the pharmacy but the earliest appointment my mom was able to get isnt until next month (this was scheduled at least 1 or 2 months ago) so the receptionist said she would talk to the dr to try and get approval to have the prescriptions called into the pharmacy.. this is not at all acceptable for diabetic patients! My moms last doctor never required to see her every time she needed prescriptions fillled (unfortunately he doesnt take my moms insurance any longer) and during this pandemic its unrealistic to need to see patients every single time they need prescriptions for medications and such ESPECIALLY when the next available appointment is MONTHS AWAY from the current date! Its sad that even years prior before there ever was a pandemic people have complained about horrible service that is no different today..

Used to go to Dr Istrico who is amazing, Only reason I switched doctors was because of an insurance change and it is close to home, but am never going back. Wait times are well over 2 hours, no one ever answers the phone when you try to call, the doctor herself is not personable at all and has a very flat affect. You can tell it’s just a business to her. Would not recommend at all!

Horrible staff that do not follow up on a patient's medications. Musso's staff needs to make sure that when they put in a perscription for a patient that the medication is available for the pharmacy to fill. If the perscription can't be filled due to a shortage the staff should notify the doctor immediately so that the doctor can take the necessary steps to ensure the patient gets the needed medication. Communication between a doctor's office and a patient's pharmacy is essential for the patient's health. You can't bill a dead patient. Makes the doctor appear not to care about their patients. only people who win are the lawyers.
