I can't thank Dr. Almoudarres enough. I have severe anxiety about medical procedures and the idea of doing a colonoscopy was a nightmare for me...I have been delaying it for years and not happy that I did that but my fear was overwhelming. I explained this to Dr. Maher in our consultation meeting and he was more than supportive and understanding. His pleasant personality, manners, and professionalism make any patient more relaxed. On the day of the procedure, all his staff, and nurses were so nice and helpful. I can't believe I am over with it. My experience with Dr. Almoudaress is fully satisfactory and rewarding and I can't recommend him enough!

Treats the whole family. One of the best doctors in Brooklyn. Others have never been able to provide relief for my wife and mother. Yes there are slight scheduling issues sometimes and the doctor has a particular style. However, none of that should matter when he's relieved you of the usual GI issues you used to have in the middle of the night.

This Dr is rude and argumentative. I went there for a colonoscopy. He did the procedure in his office. I was scheduled for 2pm. I waited for well over 1 hour before I was called back, the procedure didn't start till about 4pm. The anesthesiologist did such a horrible job putting the IV in my arm I had a very bad bruise for about 10 days, I hurt so much I couldn't use that arm. They woke me up before he was done with the procedure. He then told me I have a condition that people get when they take a specific over the counter medication that I don't take. At my follow up he argued with me coming just short of accusing me of lying that I take this specific medication when I don't. Then would not explain how else I would develop this problem . I felt like he was demeaning me for being female.

We had a terrible experience with this doctor. He is incredibly insensitive, rude, impatient and lacks compassion. He even made fun of my mother’s last name (if he is reading this, I’m sure he will know). My mother waited for over an hour to be seen to be rushed out of his office. He barely answered her questions and was not helpful at all. I should have paid more attention to his less than stellar reviews before I scheduled her appointment. If I could give him zero stars, I would.

Front desk was a lovely lady that spoke Spanish. That’s the only good thing I can say about this place. The doctor was late for his appointments to start. Maher was a complete arrogant idiot. Poor communication skills. No patience with elderly people. Rude when asked why we needed a sonogram after endoscopy and colonoscopy. Very snappy. So sad to see people put their lives in the hands of guys like him. You can see all he cares about is $$$ and not educate his patients on health matters. I would never take anyone there. I don’t recommend this guy to anyone.
