Dr. Avshalumova saw my elderly parents for a chronic problem. They have been to 2 different dermatologists prior to that but they were not able to come up with an appropriate treatment plan or to help them. Dr. Avshalumova was able to make the correct diagnosis during their 1st visit and come up with a treatment plan that solved their health problem. Dr. Avshalumova was very professional, caring and kind. This doctor has an excellent bedside manner and truly cares about her patients. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I’ve been going to Dr Avshalumva for about 2-3 years now. She is patient, kind and so talented. My face has needed a lot of work and she explains everything she’s going to do before she does it and always has time for questions. she always takes the time to make me feel as comfortable as she can. My husband is now her patient. I am never going to another dermatologist ever.

I have been going to Dr. Avshalumova for too many years to count & there is nobody else I’d trust more. She is the most helpful, thorough dermatologist I have been to. She’s so knowledgeable and can explain everything to me in a way I understand and feel comfortable with. The staff is incredible and friendly, the office is nice and in a great location downtown. Highly recommend her to everyone!

Not a single dermatologist I'd trust more than Dr. Avshalumova. I have been going to her for years. The office is clean and located in lower Manhattan and...
Very knowledgeable and helpful physician and staff. She wants you to look and feel great (she doesn't just overdo nonsense to make money). Not rushed in...
Went for a treatment last year. The treatment left terrible scars and it didn’t work. Dr. Avshalumova made me come to repeat the sessions over a couple of months. It wouldn’t work, so I went to a different doctor who healed me in one session. Even tho, I’m good now, I’ll have the marks for the rest of my life from the incompetence of the doctor. I think she just wanted to run my insurance and co-pay. I spent like $1k out of pocket

Dr. Lyubov Avshalumova And her staff was completely rude! I walked in as a new patient for. 10:30 appointment. At 10:50 I was called to the dest to pay my copay of $15 no problem! The receptionist said I can Zelle the $15 to avoid the 3.xx% fee to use my card or pay cash. I informed her my financial institution does not allow me to Zelle a business and nowhere was it advertised to pay with cash or be charged a fee. Either way I hand my card and told her my take on it’s illegal to charge a fee for using a card. At which point the receptionist went and got Dr. Lyubov Avshalumova who then asked if I had a question I said I did not nor did I understand why the receptionist when and got her. She then tried to demean me by having the other receptionist using a calculator tell her with the math is on the fee and tell me I am arguing with her about .59¢ then say don’t worry I’ll wave the fee this time. Like it’s doing me a favor if it’s just .59¢ you should be charging your patient ls to begin with. It’s the PRINCIPLE SHE EXTREMELY RUDE WASTED 30 minutes of my time!
