Dr. Almonte and his staff are very friendly and professional. Almonte has been very helpful giving me preventive health tips and recommendations based on the exams he performs at every visit.

I went to this doctor for several years. Today, my son and I show up for our scheduled appointment which I had to wait for several weeks. I signed in and went to ask clerk a question regarding a fax sent to them last week. It wasn't till I the date of appointment that I was informed me that Doctor no longer accepts GHI. I believe they should have informed me of this before scheduling the appointment. This is unprofessional and lost of my valuable time.

I dont understand the good reviews. They must be his family members. I have never met a doctor who is so careless. My father is his patient and he is an 81 year old chemo patient. Dr Almonte has no good bedside manner, he rushes the visits, does not care to be thorough enough in giving his answers to your questions. From what I know, hes the only spanish speaking physician in the area which my dad will trust to avoid any confusion from a language barrier. My dad has been going to this doctor for a while( I have tried to convince him to leave the practice and go elsewhere) and yet the Dr has no idea of my dads history whenever he calls. You wait for hours to get seen, so he will rush your visit to move on the next. I know he wants to get those checks so thats why he makes everyone wait for hours as long as he gets paid. If you want a doctor who is empathetic and kind, dont come here. Dont bring senior family members here. If you leave a message to the staff, forget it because he will never call you back. I have noticed that he gives more priority to patients from his country. But since we aren't, we get put at the back end of the list. I take care of my dad and I expect to get treated fairly. There has to be someone better around here. Until now, please go elsewhere.
