Sent me to the emergency room after cutting the lining of my stomach during a routine upper endoscopy. This happened because he was taking an unnecessary biopsy for Celiac's desease without having taken blood work to indicate that I was at risk of having Celiac's. Biopsy came back negative. Definitely a cut first ask questions later kind of doctor. To make matters worse, no financial help was offered for the cost of going to the ER. In fact, he sent a doctor from his group to "check up" on me during my 3 days in the ER. These were 5 min conversations that were each billed to me for hundreds of dollars. He also had another doctor from his group go in and close the wound at the ER. All in all, it was a pretty profitable "mistake" for him and his cronies.
