Dr. Mroczek is an exceptional surgeon who saved my leg. My foot and ankle were severely deformed in vertical and horizontal directions with multiple joint dislocations and broken bones. I had progressive deteriorating foot and ankle deformity that getting worse every week. Eventually I couldn’t stand and walk without excruciating pain. Dr. Mroczek successfully performed very complicated and high-risk surgery and now I am walking on both of my feet again. He is the only surgeon in New York who was able and willing to perform such surgery. I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Mroczek for saving my leg.

For the first time in five years I am walking 1 mile a day and regaining strength in my ankle. I went from a ruptured tendon to a fallen arch and surgery was my last recourse. Dr. Mroczek has repaired my foot, I have an arch again and can walk!!! Thank you so much for giving me my life back!! I never have to wait and the office staff is so helpful and attentive. I’m so happy!

Horrible experience - incredibly dismissive, hadn’t even bothered to look at the MRI that was taken. Was told to “wear a brace” and come back in 2 months. Went to see another competent surgeon who fixed the problem and told me it should have been fixed months ago. Would avoid

I was referred to this doctor due to an issue with a bunionectomy surgery. I was experiencing severe pain in my right foot. He took some X-rays and told me it was arthritis and I would have to learn to manage and bear the pain associated with it. I argued that I thought it was something more serious, but to no avail. Two weeks later I saw a doctor at Hospital for Special Surgery and it was pointed out to me that I had a hairline fracture. Dr. Mroczek was encouraging me to continue to walking and engaging as normal in daily activities with a fractured foot, concerning.
