Dr. Zeichner fixed my skin issues and continues to provide me with accurate medical advice. I have seen many dermatologists over a twenty year period, and he is the only one who was able to fix my skin completely. The negative reviews are unfair because they do not portray his abilities as a knowledgeable and highly intelligent physician. Its normal for in-demand doctors in NYC to be running late, so this is not unique to Dr. Zeichner. The fact that he is written about in magazines is irrelevant, and has nothing to do with his deep knowledge of skin - many top doctors give interviews to the press and that is not a fair or legitimate reason to give him a negative review. I judge Doctors based upon their ability to correctly address my medical issues, and his abilities are among the BEST I have seen. If you need a smart and very experienced dermatologist who can fix your skin issues then go see Dr. Zeichner. I give Dr. Zeichner my highest recommendation.

Dr. Zeichner took a look at my hormonal cystic acne and knew right away what had to be done! I had tried everything up to that point, topicals and other doctors…but doctor Z was able to help me find the right treatment. No, he didnt need to ask me a million questions because the cause and treatment were very straight forward. His office is at mount sinai and so you may have a little bit of a wait, but it’s worth it. He’s a great guy! If acne is your main concern I’d definitely recommend seeing Dr. Z.

I love Dr. Zeichner. He always makes me feel comfortable and listens to all of my concerns. He takes the time to ask me how I am doing and I always takes all the time I need.

As a doctor myself I know what a good bedside manner is. Dr Zeichner is one of the best. Besides making you feel comfortable and welcome he is smart and comprehensive. Most importantly he is extremely gentle and as a new patient I knew right away I chose the right doc for me. Looking forward to my next treatment as weird as that sounds. DrT

During the appointment, Dr. Zeichner took one quick glance at my condition and immediately prescribed medication -- he didn't care about history of the condition or any other details. He literally did not ask a single question about my condition. When I proceeded to ask questions I had about my condition and about the medicine he was prescribing, he was dismissive, impatient, and condescending. He did not seem happy to answer my questions at all and I'm sure he would've preferred if I just immediately agreed to his treatment plan. I am also always on time and have had to wait ~20min in the exam room each visit. Also, Dr. Zeichner obviously is looking to profit from his credentials as much as possible -- just look at how many interviews he's given beauty magazines and his attempts at social media. His nurse was great, though.
