Great Doctor! Very professional but personable. You can speak to him and he will listen and evaluate. Not the kind of Doctor that just writes prescription, and keep moving.

Dr. Mintah is an excellent physician; however; the gentleman working the front desk is very unprofessional and lacks the skills of being organized and multi tasking.

I’ve tried going to this doctor but the guy behind the reception made me turn away numerous times years apart. Even today as I was about to book yet again, I find myself reading comments about the guy behind the reception as early as last month. I’d rather drive 30 mins to another provider that has professionals working for them than give these rude unprofessional people a penny. Your front desk is the face of your establishment, like it or not. Who you have behind that desk determines your patent intake and ultimately, success. I tried going to this doctor as this doctor is in my network and near where I live (you don’t want to be traveling far when you’re sick) and the first attempt was a couple of years ago and I turned away because of the sheer rudeness of the guy behind the front desk. And yet again turning away today because of the guy behind the front desk. I agree with the previous person who suggested to get a better front desk person. Till then, I’ll take my healthcare elsewhere. Such shame, our community can’t have quality healthcare and even if provider is of quality, the people working for them aren’t of quality. I no longer tolerate the blatant abuse from the healthcare workers, especially in these lower income and mixed community neighborhoods. We all deserve better and we shall demand better. Till then please seek care elsewhere that treats you like a human being. And patients; though we are not feeling well and not in a good mood, understand that some of these healthcare workers are here to take care of you selflessly. Don’t lash out and take your anger/frustration out on them. It’s a teamwork, we all need eachother, let’s treat each other like a loved one and heal the world.

This review does NOT reflect Dr. Joseph K. Mintah whatsoever. This 1 star is for the young male receptionist at the front desk who lacked professionalism. This individual hindered my attempts to find out more about my heart condition. Upon my arrival to find out my results, the clinic was extremely crowded. I approached the front desk to check in for my appointment. Feeling uncomfortable, I ended up leaving because the receptionist did not address me for at least 10 minutes. Two days later, I called to find out if it would be possible to receive my results over the phone. This reason was because I did not want to return to a crowded office during this COVID outbreak. While speaking to him over the phone, he was crude and was constantly interrupting me while I was explaining my situation. Since I'm unable to receive my results, I've decided to find another doctor so I could repeat this whole process again. Dr. Joseph K. Mintah, I suggest you find another receptionist.
