My experience with Dr. Durzieh was okay. The diagnosis was very brief (about 5 to 10 mins) and there was hardly any time for questions. As a new patient, I felt like the time he spent seeing us was way too short to properly diagnose the medical problem. I was a bit disappointed in general.

I am speaking on behalf of my mother, Adriana Fernandez; these people were harassing my mother calling her three times a day to know how she would pay. My mother told the lady at the front desk that she had a letter from the financial aid department of NYU Langone that she is covered, and mother still was receiving calls about the payment. These people do not care about the patient's health; it is all about the money. Also, this doctor does not take his time checking his patients because Dr. Joseph Durzieh did not even examine my mother's stomach and did not answer any of her questions, not even one. Also, the worst thing was that Dr. Joseph Durzieh was with my mother for less than 5 min. This place has terrible doctors and workers that do not care about their patients. My mother is looking for another doctor because they harassed my mother so much that she does not feel comfortable seeing this doctor. The Dollar sighs are more important than the patient. Running from one room to another, checking patients in one minute, and talking about insurance instead of patient problems. Someone has to do something about this place; patients can not be treated like this. This is crazy.

The worst doctor was that I met in New York. Walking in the office in the suit does not mean being a professional and educated doctor. The Dollor sighs more important than the patient. Running from one room to another, checking patients in one minute and talking about insurance instead of problems of the patient not acceptable at all. Please don't visit Dr. Durzieh, if you would like to be healthy.

Steer clear of this doctor. Did not even check my stomach. Gave me a diagnosis while looking at the screen. He barely looked at me.I could barely get two questions in. Was out in less than 5 minutes. I even cancelled my endoscopy with him because I found out he was performing it. I am seeing another doctor. First time I have been to a gastroenterologist who doesn't even perform a basic abdomen press check.
