Dr. Joseph Buono

My entire family goes to Dr. Buono. I live in NJ and still come back to Brooklyn for my appointments. We all love him! I would also like to also say that he saved my brother in laws life. He has bone cancer and is very sick. He went to the hospital when he was not feeling well only to be told nothing was wrong and was sent home. Later that day he knew something was wrong and called Dr. Buono, who is his PCP and knows his condition and took him in immediately. He found a blood clot and called the ambulance for him immediately. They told him at the hospital the clot was traveling and had he not went to Dr. Buono he absolutely could have died. He was just as wonderful to my mother when she had Cancer and luckily she is in remission and doing great. We can't thank him enough!!

I'm giving 5 stars because Dr. Buono is the best, he's caring, he listens and is compassionate, his office on the other hand sucks, they hardly pick up the phone and when you are waiting for a call back, don't hold your breath. He needs a better staff for sure, as a doctor, there's not a better one in Brooklyn.

As many posts says, it is very very difficult to find a caring and knowledgeable doctor that you can trust!! Dr. Buono is one of the best!!! My mom is a patient of his and he treats her with respect and care and has helped to nurse her back to great health. And I have switched as well and my initial check up with Dr. Buono was so comprehensive on so many medical issues. He is reassuring, yet thorough and I am so very glad he is now my doctor too!!

Dr Joe Buono is a compassionate and caring doctor. He’s down to earth and it makes the appointments much less stressful.

Waiting 10 minutes just to speak to someone. Listening to the same piece of music over and over.
