Dr. Jonathan Vigdorchik

The best orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement, PERIOD. My own GP raved about Dr. Vigdorchik when asked! From my first call to the office at HSS, until my post op visit, every person and experience was exceptional. I had a full hip replacement- in addition to age degeneration, I had been injured and crushed my hip socket. Dr. Vigdorchik used robot assisted technology and I’m confident that his precision had a huge impact on my outcome. Very little pain, I was walking same day gingerly with help, but back to usual remarkably fast. Unbelievable! In addition to his incredible skill, Dr. Vigdorchik is unbelievably warm and authentic. I’ve already referred my mother to him. Love Dr. Vigdorchik and his whole staff!!

My husband was in need of bilateral knee replacements. We decided to come to HSS, but did not know which surgeon to choose. I read the reviews of about 30+ surgeons and narrowed the search to about five surgeons. My husband is a decisive man. However, with this decision, he appreciated my help. I am in the habit of praying to God for guidance and as we began to meet with the physicians I still was not sure. I knew they were all gifted surgeons. I called to make an appointment immediately and as if Ada’s testimony was not sufficient, my experience with Chandler Gadson initially and then with Lisa Pugliese, Practice Manager/Surgical Coordinator convinced me even more. When we met Nikki Fein, PA-C and finally Dr Vigdorchik we were so happy we had chosen Jonathan Vigdorchik, M.D. After we left the appointment that day, I heard my husband tell a family member that he was so pleased with Dr. Vigdorchik and his team. He felt Dr Vigdorchik was unlike any doctor he had previously met and he felt most comfortable with him. My husband had a partial knee replacement about four weeks ago and everything has gone very well. He is improving every day. He is scheduled for a full knee replacement for the other knee in 8 weeks. Words can't express the gratitude I have toward Dr. Vigdorchik and the staff at HSS. I had surgery in the UK when I was younger and the time had come to get that removed and replaced, the minute I called to schedule the appointment, to now currently going through rehabilitation I can't thank everyone in the team enough! Dr. Vigdorchik and his team are extraordinarily competent, professional, and courteous. Every aspect of my procedure (total hip replacement) was handled with precision, skill and warmth. From first meeting to pre-op screenings, to surgery and follow-up, I was frankly blown away by what a great process they have. I was walking into my home the same day (!) I had the surgery, and have since made an extraordinarily fast recovery. Dr. V and his team use a robotic technique that I believe helps the recovery process move faster -- honestly, this whole procedure has felt amazing to me and I am very grateful.
