Dr Vapnek is the best that there is! Extremely approachable, clear in the explanation of symptoms, truly an ideal physician! I also love his staff, always accommodating with appointments as well as very personable with the patients. Thank you all! Irena A.

About 12 years ago I needed to find a new urologist and my primary care physician recommended Dr. Vapnek, who was his own urologist. Dr. V is "five stars" in every category. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Dr. Vapnek is one of a smaller and smaller minority of doctors who actually think through and independently analyze your situation. He is incredibly thorough and knowledgeable, yet maintains a wonderful sense of humor and engaging personality. It is no wonder he is regarded as one of NYC's top urologists. Highly recommended!

Understanding, thorough, knows his stuff, excellent bedside manner, was especially helpful when I had a a bladder retention emergency that filled my bladder with a liter of urine. Also helpful in medication management for my prostate that reduced my PSA significantly.. Booking appointments easy and very little wait time in the waiting room. Most recently I contacted him during his vacation in Hawaii and, despite the 6 hour time difference, he responded within an hour. Staff pleasant, efficient.
