Dr. Samuels is very personable, a great listener and empathetic towards his patients. He was very attentive throughout my medical care, before and after. I felt heard and not rushed when visiting . He takes his time to explain and answer all and any question I had. I am very grateful for his knowledge and professionalism.

I have been under Jonathan Samuel’s care for about 7 years or so, and I would not trade him for the world. I have a rare autoimmune disease known as Ankylosing Spondylitis, very hard pill to swallow but in life you always have the power to choose how you respond. What made this hard realization that much easier is having such an amazing rheumatologist on my team who has my back. In my 7 years I must admit, I have not been the best patient, out of fear and anxiety I have not always followed Dr. Samuel’s counsel and I genuinely feel bad looking back. BUT, regardless of me not always being the best patient, Dr. Samuels has consistently been the BEST Rheumatologist he could be and he never took anything out on me. I see close to about a dozen physicians in total, out of that number, there are only 3 that I feel genuinely care about me, and he is 2 of them. He is an amazing doctor, and amazing person, I am fortunate to be under his care and this review was long overdue.

AVOID AT ALL COST; one star is still too many; this man is rude, dismissive and if he wastes your time, don't expect an apology. For a doctor whose bio reads "I take great pride in restoring health and providing hope to my patients" nothing could be further from the truth. He yawned throughout my entire appointment, was dismissive of my complaints and later after reviewing the appointment summary I saw that his notes from the visit re: my medical history were wrong as well, proving how little attention he was paying - Langone's response was also beyond appalling when I filled a complaint with patient care services. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Dr. Samuels did not review my extensive medical records until he came into the office. I was advised to send them well in advance of the visit so that he would be prepared. He was rushed and dismissive of my concerns. He did not properly consider all my symptoms to assess correctly. I have since found another physician, not within this practice, who diagnosed me appropriately. If you have a classic text book condition perhaps he would be adequate. Not the case for me.
