Dr. Oren performed surgery on me to treat a troublesome herniated cervical disc. Even though I'm sure I was a difficult patient (had tons of questions, was unsure about the procedure), he was thorough and patient with me. I'm happy I had the surgery and feel great. Bedside manner: 10/10 Surgical skill: 10/10 What else do you need?? He's the best!

Dr. Oren performed a Posterior Cervical foraminotomy & spine microdiscectomy surgery on me in 03/2021. I was suffering the worse pain you can feel since Dec 2020 day & night. Thank God I found him. He is very professional and explain you step by step and answer all your questions. I’ll appreciate your care for the rest all my life. God bless you and special your hands. I am a 44 year old female that was in that unlucky and rare percentage of people that had a re-discherniation right after my first discectomy. I was referred to Dr. Oren and he treated me for both. I very much appreciated his approach to treatment, however the thing I appreciated most was that he LISTENED to my concerns and directed his attention there. I am only 20 hours after my second surgery laying on my side comfortably at home. 👏🏻✅🤝. Ready to slowly get back to 110%.

Dr. Oren is the best orthopaedic surgeon. He is very professional and detailed. Dr. Oren understands and listens to his patient's needs. He explains all treatments and expectations clearly. I thank him for saving my life. On Feb. 3, 2017, I developed epidural sacs, which had an infection called MRSA on my lower back and my neck. Dr. Oren performed a surgical procedure on my lower back and neck, which saved my from literally dying. Thank God for Dr. Oren and his staff at Lenox Hill Hospital, I am still alive and back to my normal activities. It makes a world of a difference when you have such a great specialist who actually cares about his patients. I recommend him to the world. Dr. Oren is the best.

Hes very nice and very professional. However, I've had back problems since birth, he seems to think that I have nothing but just general pain. If thats so why can't I move most days??? Only suggested pain management and physical therapy when I've done all that and still doing pt. In so much pain and got nowhere with this. I feel like he rushed through appointment and just dismissed me basically. He doesn't listen as well as people describe. Why put me through pain management if I've done it already. Twice. Getting a second opinion. BTW I feel like his friends are giving those 5 star ratings.
