Dr. John Pellegrini

The wait is a little long, but I am very satisfied with the care I get.

After I was not able to see any eye doctor I called to make an emergency appointment to have Dr Pellegrini look at the large red spot in my left eye. The secretary told me to come right now because the doctor is leaving at 12:00. I sign in at 9:35 or 9:45 .I wait and wait.12:00 I still was waiting.When I ask I am told that I have to wait because I don't have an appointment.I tell them I have an important appointment in Manhattan at 1:00. They tell me that I am next.I go in an examining room after 15 minutes I still did not see the doctor. I left and ran to the Flatbush bus.In my haste I jump on the wrong bus because I forgot to cross the street. They wasted my time! For nothing! My eye is still red What would you do in my situation?

I really like Dr Peligrino, that said his front office staff is either overworked or just plain nasty. They should not be in a service oriented position. Too bad because the wait can be long due to walk Ins I get it , if the staff was nicer it would be an overall nicer experience.

they do not provide good service,they never answer the phone, and waiting for hours to see a doctor.and they over charged my health insurance.
