Dr. Salinas has been my primary care doctor for the last three years and I feel so lucky to be in his care. He is a genuine, honest, and a very caring individual. I am also a T1 diabetic, so with a chronic illness, so I tend to reach out a lot for help through the NYU APP, which is brilliant and easy to use. He or someone from the staff always responds. Dr. Salinas really helps me take charge of my own health by recommending different things. He has gone so far as to make specialist appointments for me when I am unable to get an appointment. He also is very careful, asks a lot of questions, and is diligent about updating my chart. He makes smart suggestions to me to improve me health on every level and I hope with his guidance I do keep improving!

He is a absolutely wonderful person, but a horrible doctor he never ever replies to messages never does anything with any urgency when its important to you regarding your care is completely absent minded, and never replies to messages his staff does everything for him for example, OK I was Running low on my blood pressure medication(I had 10 pills left) I sent him a message never got a response, my pharmacy reached out to get a new prescription they never got a response I was on the phone for 2.5 hours talking with the NYU staff and they couldn’t get a response I went to the office and left still waiting for a new prescription from Dr Salinas this man doesn’t care about you

Probably the worst doctor I have seen in my life. He prescribed wrong dosage and wrong medication and flipped out on me when I explained it to him. He also prescribed an anti-depressant which I did not take and at that point, he was screaming; "I even take anxiety medication. If you don't do what I tell you to do, I can't be your doctor anymore. He never returned a phone call to me." Needless to say, I switched doctors
