I had my second colonoscopy and endoscopy with Dr. Katzman in January 2022. He is the consummate professional. He takes time before and after the procedure to talk with his patient (in a relaxed and non rushed manner). He explains everything and takes the time needed to answer questions. His anesthesiologist is the same one who handled my first procedure nine years ago and, he like Dr. Katzman is the consummate professional. To make the experience dealing with Dr. Katzman even more pleasant is that he has the nicest and most helpful staff of any doctor I have ever seen.

Dr. Katzman is an excellent physician. I visited the office a little over a year ago and I can honestly say that he helped me tremendously. My appointment was thorough and I felt that he listened to me to really understand my symptoms and provide adequate care.

Honestly the office staff is horrible and Dr. Katzman displays no regard for his patients and exhibited to me that it’s all about the money for this practice. Office staff reached out to me for my two week follow up after my procedure. I was informed that I needed to pay a $40 office copay to receive my results over the phone. I was also informed that my insurance had only covered $2600 of a $2800 bill for the procedure and that they were withholding my results until I paid the balance. The office employee said “Well the doctor received zero payment.” I asked if this was legal and she said “Technically yeah but I can’t talk to you and I must get off the phone.” I don’t believe that is ethical or legal, especially over less than $200. Such a disappointment and will be exploring legal options to document this. Outrageous.
